Event description
This Orientation session will give you all the information you need about ACT Wildlife works in the community and how you can help.

About this event

Native animals are compromised by interactions with people, their pets and vehicles, and with other native animals. Our primary aim is to rehabilitate these animals and return them to the wild. ACT Wildlife is a robust organisation that depends on volunteers to operate. Volunteering opportunities are many and this session gives you a overview of what is available and how you might be able to help.

NOTE: You MUST be registered as a member to volunteer for the organisation. If you are becoming a member at this training please fill out this form: https://actwildlife.net/become-a-member/ and if you are already a member and have not given us your details please submit them using the same web address

Register online for ACT Wildlife training!

ACT Wildlife is the only native wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release organisation in Canberra. We take injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife and provide care until they are ready to be released back into the wild. All our carers have professional training to ensure a high standard of welfare for animals in care. ACT Wildlife also educates the public about sharing urban spaces with native wildlife.
