Event description

Description

Anti discrimination laws are now designed to protect marginalised groups (such as victims of Family Violence), by promoting normative and behavioural responses to Domestic Violence to enable equal participation at work.

How do people in your organisation react to a person who is suspected as a victim of Domestic Violence? Are employees comfortable in using a sensitive enquiry approach to address issues and actively promote support?

Looking at this topic using an organisational perspective, the key learning outcomes will include:

  • Identification of those experiencing or at risk of experiencing intimate partner violence
  • Introduction of a senstive inquiry approach to those experiencing or at risk of experiencing family violence
  • Responding appropriately to those experiencing or at risk of experiencing family violence
