Are you a young Victorian aged 18-25 with something to contribute?

Join CQ Cultural Consulting, Melbourne City Mission’s social enterprise, for its future leaders summit; Opportunities, Choice & Change (OCC).

OCC is a space for young people to engage in peer-to-peer learning focused on inclusion, belonging and social cohesion; empowering you, the next generation of global citizens, to create your own conversations in a collaborative and creative participant-led setting.

Register your expression of interest today and engage with speakers such as Abe Nouk (Creative Rebellion Youth), Aretha Stewart Brown (National Indigenous Youth Parliament), Pete Yao (Thankyou Water), Mai Phuong Nguyen (Code Like a Girl), Dr Yassir Morsi (La Trobe University) and many more!

FAQs

Do I need to bring my own lunch?

Not at all! We have arranged for all our attendees to get a yummy lunch plus morning and afternoon tea. There will also be coffee / tea when you arrive, so please come down at 9.30 to register and have time to have a drink before we get started.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is aimed at 18 - 25 year olds but we wont be checking ID and if you fall slightly either side you are more than welcome to come along.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We are a short walk from Flinders Street Station and/or Parliament Station or jump on a tram down Collins or Flinders. For more info use this link.

What do I need to bring / what am I not allowed to bring?

We will provide you with food throughout the day, you are more than welcome to bring a bottle of water / other soft drink if you want but do not bring any other snacks into the venue. We would also ask that you bring a notebook with you to take notes.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, if you have registered and your registration has been accepted, we will have a name tag for you to collect when you arrive as your ticket for entry.

Can I update my registration information?

If you feel you need to update your details, go for it! If you have not been accepted to attend and you update your submision, please let us know via email also cq@mcm.org.au

Is my registration free or ticket transferrable?

Your registration is free but it is not transferrable, if you have someone else you think should be attending, please ask them to register.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, we will not let someone else attend on your behalf. Please let us know if you can't attend and if you would like to subject someone else to take your place. cq@mcm.org.au
