Event description

Description

This will be a practical, action-focussed workshop for local government employees only on how to maximise the opportunities and manage the challenges of working with town teams.

Town teams are positive and proactive organisations that include businesses, landowners and residents working collaboratively with their local government to improve a place or area. They often, but not always, form around a town centre or ‘main street’.

There are now town teams in 11 local governments in Western Australia and other local governments are also considering the model. Rather than working in isolation, let's work together and share knowledge and experiences.

How can we maximise the opportunities and manage the challenges of working with town teams?

This group workshop with your peers will build your understanding, skills and equip you with new ideas. You' leave with actions you can implement straight away.

Please arrive at 8.30am for a 8.45am start.
