The ANU Art collection comprises more than 3000 works. It is periodically swelled by magnificent additions. Here is a significant sampling, on view for only three weeks. It includes recent philanthropic gifts and acquisitions, newly restored works and major paintings by senior Indigenous women of law, such as Angelina Pwerle Ngala and Emily Kame Kngwarreye. ANU Alumnae staff and students featured in this show include Dionisia Salas, Sheida Sabetraftar, Vivienne Binns  and Ruth Waller among others.

Highlights from the ANU Art Collection has been curated by the Drill Hall Gallery staff.

General note: The gallery audience capacity is currently 45 people. With up to 120 people ticketed for the event drinks in the forecourt note that only 45 visitors will be able to view the exhibition at any one time.

Note our wet weather contingency: In the event of wet weather the opening will be staged. We will email you three hours before the event to confirm your opening session, the first being 6-6.45 pm, the second being 7-7.45pm and the third 8-8.30pm.

Visitors to the Drill Hall Gallery:

For your safety, the Drill Hall Gallery will be following guidelines, recommendations and enforceable public health directions published by ACT Health and Safework Australia. We will be collecting contact tracing information from all visitors to the gallery.

• Utilise hand sanitisers provided at the entrance of the gallery.
• Assist our staff in filling out your contact tracing information on entry and exit from the gallery.
• Maintain1.5 metres distance from other visitors and staff.
• Comply with the number restrictions clearly signposted in each of the gallery spaces.
• Comply with any written or verbal directions from staff.
• Use contactless payment for any purchases made at the Drill Hall Gallery.
• Consider downloading the COVIDSafe app if you have not already.
• We strongly encourage you to wear a facemask during gallery events.
