Take a self-guided tour of Sydney's makerspaces and learn more about this inspiring local movement.

Discover what projects makers have in the works and learn more about digital fabrication, woodworking, artisinal craft and more. Take a tour of the studios and workspaces, and meet makers from many disciplines. This is a perfect event for those interested in joining a maker community or for those who just want to discover what it's all about!

is a family run business with two cafes, a picklery, a cooking school and a cookbook. Cornersmith believes in ethical food production, sustainable business practices and community engagement.

Situated in a historical industrial workshop, Eveleigh Works offers classes in blacksmithing, knifemaking, damascus steel and metal sculpture., 184 Glebe Point Road (behind the St Helen's Community Centre), Glebe, 2037

Established by artists in 2015, provides studios, opportunities, workshop space and classes to those with an explorative, avant-garde attitude to ceramics across craft and art contexts.

Makerspace &co, 1/17 Barclay Street, Marrickville, NSW, 2204

Australia’s biggest public-access workshop. Equipped for woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, textiles, mechantronics and printmaking, it is a place where people come together to design, make and learn.

From designers and fabricators running full-time businesses through to dabblers, fixers and DIY-ers Makerspace &company’s Marrickville workshop is the best place to turn ideas into reality. Makerspace &company is open to the public for visits and tours, drop in any time.

Continuing on their crusade for creativity, Work-Shop have set up The Makery, an initiative to help local artists, designers and makers exhibit and sell their creations.

Pyrmont Ultimo Glebe Mens Shed is a group work community space with a fully equipped timber workshop and with products on display and for sale. Take a guided tour and learn what each machine does and enjoy music drummed up by members.

Reverse Garbage is an award-winning environmental co-operative committed to promoting sustainability.
