About this Event
Open Sessions is a free program for young people aged 13 - 18 wanting to share creative interests in an encouraging and inspiring environment. Make something at a drop-in activity station, chat with practicing artists, develop new ideas and meet other young creatives from your community. Open Sessions is free but bookings are essential!

TERM 1: THURSDAY 4 MARCH - Eclectic/Watercolour Portraits and Contemporary Collage. Artists Hannah Surtees and Sama Cooper
TERM 1: THURSDAY 25 MARCH - Zine Making and Illustrated Album Art. Artists Estee Sarsfield and Nick Potts
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS: FRIDAY APRIL 16 YOUTH WEEK FESTIVAL 2021 at Lawson Skate Park, 11am - 3pm. Book free tickets for the festival here:
TERM 2: THURSDAY 13 MAY - Wild Printing and Posca Mini-Murals. Artists Nicole Law and Jodee Knowles.
TERM 2: THURSDAY 3 JUNE - Street Art inspired collage and Paper Portraits. Artists Nastia Gladushchenko and Claire Cassidy
TERM 2: THURSDAY 24 JUNE - Paper Ornaments and Japanese Inspired Ink Drawing. Artists Jeff McCann and Shay Tobin.
TERM 3: THURSDAY 29 JULY - Inclusive Filmmaking with Genevieve Clay-Smith from Bus Stop Films
TERM 3: THURSDAY 19 AUGUST - Copper pendants with silversmith Jane Tadrist
TERM 3: THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 9 - Street Art Paste Ups with artist Man.De
TERM 4: THURSDAY 28 OCTOBER - Experimental Jewellery making and wearables.
TERM 4: THURSDAY 2 DECEMBER - Songwriter station and live music performances
