Event description
What do common elements look like in practice? Join us to learn and discuss how this approach can contribute to the sector.

About this Event

The Outcomes Practice Evidence Network (OPEN) is hosting a Forum on common elements in practice for child and family services. As a peak body we are bringing together parties who are interested to share knowledge, challenges and successes on the journey to evidence informed practice across a variety of service provision contexts.

A presentation and panel discussion will showcase initiatives currently being undertaken both within, and outside of the trial currently funded by DHHS.

We hope to see you there.

Panellists

The panel will feature Melinda Polimeni, Director at Centre for Evidence and Implementation, talking about common elements as 'building blocks' for evidence informed practice. The panel will also feature Annette Michaux from the Parenting Research Centre, Lynette Buoy from Windermere Child & Family Services and Emily McDonald formerly from Kids First Australia and now at The Centre For Excellence in Child and Family Welfare.

Megan Peacock and Kathryn Howe from Bethany Family Services will give an overview of the journey to embed common elements into their practice.

There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
