About this event

The Open Cut Coal Mechanical Engineers' Forum is held at the Muswellbrook RSL and Via Zoom.

This collaborative forum aids in the development of knowledge within the mechanical discipline of the Open Cut Coal mining industry.

It includes a review of recent incidents, emerging issues and trends, site experiences in managing safety and discussions on improving mechanical safety. All are welcomed that can provide constructive input in to the technical discussion. The most value will be gained if people are prepared to discuss learnings from their experiences.

Key outcomes

- Develop networking in the Open Cut Coal mining mechanical engineering fraternity.

- Create a forum for communication between the Regulator and Mechanical Engineers.
