Whether you are looking to move out home for the first time or already renting, our FREE tenancy skills course is for you. Learn what every tenant needs to know to get approved for a rental property and sail through a trouble-free tenancy.

The Tenancy Skills Institute is delivering Skillsets for Successful for Tenancies - Dollars and Sense, a FREE tenancy skills course funded by the Queensland Government.

The course is delivered over multiple days, with sessions running from 9:30am till 3:00pm each day. Please note you are required to attend all sessions to complete the course.

The course covers:

Communication - How to make a winning application, keeping and maintaining tenancy records, submitting maintenance and creating a positive rental history

Rights and responsibility - understand the rights and obligations of a tenancy, understanding tenancy legislation, understanding tenancy contracts and where to go to get help

Cleaning - learn how to ensure excellent routine inspections and tips on getting a full bond refund.

Budgeting - learn how to manage and maximise your money and where to get help.

Upon completion, graduates receive a certificate which is recognised by real estate agents who are committed supporters of this course.
