To attend this event, you must be residing in Queensland, Australia. You must also be identified as an unpaid carer and be registered with Carer Gateway services. We can also assist with new registrations for eligible participants.

Who is an unpaid carer?

An unpaid carer is someone who provides support or care for a friend, family member or loved one who is frail aged or living with a long-term illness or disability (including mental health). This includes providing emotional or social support to someone living in a care facility.

Join us for a laid-back online gathering where veteran carers can connect, share stories and support each other in a welcoming environment.

Carer Gateway is pleased to invite you to a 1 hour online social connection drop-in.

Do you care for someone who's a Veteran. The caring journey is often isolating. Join your local peer facilitator, Sheila, to connect online with other carers, in similar situations. Share ideas and strategies. Claim some "me time" for yourself.

Please note: This event is open to residents living in Queensland, Australia only. Participants must also be registered with Carer Gateway (we can assist with new registrations for eligible participants).
