Online Podcasting Workshop

Krisjoe Fuertes (UNSW Immersive Media) will take you through recording and basic editing skills.

This is open to everyone. First Nations students that are interested are particularly encouraged to attend, as in the latter half of 2022 Indigenous Initiatives Network are planning to create a podcast series with some paid production roles for students. This workshop will give you a window into the process of creating a podcast if you think a production role is of interest to you.

For those who want to go even further, after completing this, we’re planning another hands-on course that introduces field recording equipment and the uni’s recording spaces, as well as opportunities to learn interviewing techniques from a journalist.
