National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn how to work together to create a nation strengthened by respect for all.
About this event
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
Join us for lunch online to hear from two respected Aboriginal leaders on the role we all play in the reconciliation journey. Dr Robert Isaacs AM is an Aboriginal Elder from the Whadjuk-Bibilmum Wardandi Noongar language group and has devoted his career to improving the wellbeing of Aboriginal Australians. Alison Page is a Walbanga and Wadi Wadi woman and is an award-winning Designer and Film Producer. Both are members of the National Australia Day Council board.
They will discuss how all Australians can work together to create a nation strengthened by respect for all peoples.
Reflect. Respect. Celebrate. We're all part of the story.
