This event is scheduled for Tuesday 3 September 2019 12:00pm and Wednesday 4 September 2019 10:00am.

NSW Public Schools are invited to join Aurora College for a 40 - minute interactive presentation by the Office of the eSafety Commissioner for National Child Protection Week.

This presentation will explore online safety and relationships. The presentation is designed to empower students with the skills to enable them to identify and establish personal online safety boundaries. They will develop skills to identify problematic situations that may impact their online safety as well as consider reporting processes for themselves and others.

This presentation will address Australian Curriculum Health and Physical Education outcomes including:

  • Practise skills to establish and maintain relationships( ACCPPS055

Personal and Social general capability including:

  • Become confident, resilient and adaptable
  • Understanding relationships

Digital technologies outcomes including:

  • Plan and practise strategies to promote health, safety and wellbeing (ACCPS054)
  • Plan, create and communicate ideas and information including collaboratively online, applying agreed ethical, social and technical protocols (ACTDIP022)

Please allow 1hr (including setup, 40min presentation and wrap-up) for the presentation.Teachers, please register with your DoE email address. Please order 1 ticket per internet connection, and limit the number of connections to 2 per school.
