Online course: Setting & smashing your writing goals - Non-fiction
Event Information
About this Event
We all know how it goes – you start the year fresh with enthusiasm for your writing.
You’re going to publish heaps of articles, finish that piece you’ve been tinkering with, enter a competition or finally pitch to that dream publication.
But how do you actually get there? And what are the practical steps you need to take to manage your writing productivity?
Over four weeks, targeted to non-fiction writers, participants will:
- Learn how to set achievable goals, and identify their targets for the next year
- Dive into the process of idea formulation, plotting, and planning out major works
- Develop a plan of attack, including hit lists for publications, competitions, and techniques for building a consistent and effective writing practice
- Identify the roadblocks they may experience, and gain advice and solutions to dealing with them.
How is the course delivered?
The course includes:
- A live weekly one-hour online seminar with Zoya, which will also be recorded and provided to anyone who can't make the specific time
- Weekly exercises, and a workbook to progress through
- Feedback and editorial advice on one written piece up to 3,000 words.
This course will commence in January 2020 and places are strictly limited, so book today!
