The Venice Biennale is arguably the world's most important and prestigious art event. Discover the origins and untold stories of Australian artists' involvement in the exhibition with author, film maker and Chair of Australia at the Venice Biennale, Kerry Gardner AM.
Kerry Gardner is Chair of Australia at the Venice Biennale and a documentary film maker with a passion for art history and museum practice. She was Deputy Chair of the Board of Heide Museum of Modern Art , and a Board Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. She also works as a global champion for gender equality with the Global Fund for Women. In 2018 Kerry was awarded an Order of Australia for contributions to the culture, environment and equality sectors.
