Olympic Lifting for Beginners.

Science of Fitness will be hosting an Olympic lifting course on Saturday 18th November 2017.

Lead by Kieran Maguire, the course will be aimed at individuals/coaches who exercise and/or teach regularly and are looking at improving their weightlifting skills, execution, coaching and cueing.

Kieran is completing his Masters Degree in Strength and Conditioning and has been educated by some of the very best in this field including Dmitri Klokov.

Kieran has worked with some of Australia's top athletes from numerous sporting backgrounds/organisations including Swimming Australia, Western Force Rugby Union, NRC Brisbane City Rugby Union, GPS Rugby Union as well as a handful more individual athletes from backgrounds such as Cricket, Track & Field, Rugby 7's and Touch Football. Kieran has successfully implemented Olympic lifting into their programs throughout both the off-seasons and in-season to enhance performance and drive elite results.

Olympic lifting is a proven way to improve your physical function. If you want to becoming faster, stronger, more mobile and a more well-rounded athlete, mover or trainer then it is recommended you get involved.

There is parking out the front, as well as plenty of on-street parking.

What am I required to bring to the event?

A notepad, pen and a water bottle. Olympic lifting shoes help if you have access to them.
