Description

PVOGS NSW is excited to present our event: “O&G Subspecialty Interest Seminar & Networking Event”

Come and join us at the RANZCOG Offices in St Leonard’s and have a chance to hear from and speak with some influential O&G sub-specialists in Sydney. We hope to give you a chance to hear from each of these speakers about the process of subspecialty training, what the best and worst aspects of their subspecialty are, why they chose their subspecialty and how you could one day step into their shoes! At the end of the night, these speakers will take on your questions as a Q&A panel, moderated by Associate Professor Greg Jenkins, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Westmead Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital and Chair of the NSW RANZCOG Regional Committee.

Our lineup of amazing speakers:
  • Dr Kathryn Austin, Maternal-Foetal-Medicine Fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital and past director of AMA NSW
  • Dr Philippa Ramsay, Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound and Prenatal Diagnosis Subspecialist, Director of Ultrasound Care and San Ultrasound for Women, VMO at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
  • Dr Rhonda Farrell, Gynaecological Oncologist and advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgeon, Staff Specialist at the Royal Hospital for Women, and a PhD candidate researching the role of peritonectomy in ovarian cancer
  • A/Prof Chris Benness, subspecialist Urogynaecologist and Head of the Urogynaecology Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
  • A/Prof Warren Chan, Fertility Specialist and CREI at AEVAFEM and Specialist in Advanced Gynaecological Surgery at Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and Westmead Hospital

Hear from these amazing doctors regarding their subspecialties in O&G, get involved in the networking and dinner and ask all your burning questions in the discussion time.
The night will kick off at 6.30pm, followed by talks from each speaker until 7.50pm. We will have a break for dinner and networking with our fantastic speakers, followed by a panel Q&A discussion moderated by A/Prof Greg Jenkins.

Don’t miss this exciting event, strictly limited to 55 guests. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for doctors.
Please make sure you are free to attend prior to purchasing a ticket, as there are no guaranteed refunds.
