Why businesses should stop giving money to charity – seminar

In an increasingly competitive world, businesses are under unprecedented pressure to balance strategic advantage, innovation and bottom line shareholder returns with social and environmental responsibility, employee engagement and growing regulatory demands. As this pressure builds, the limited pool of funds put aside for donations to charity continues to diminish, threatening the long term philanthropic partnerships and the critical social services these funds support. To prepare for the future, charities need to reinvent their corporate partnership approach. Relying on generous CEO’s won’t be enough. The charities that can evolve their partnerships will prosper, but how? In this talk, Daniel Murray explores the different strategies for corporate/charity partnerships and provides guidance on unlocking value from existing partnership
