La Trobe University pediatric occupational therapy expert, Dr. Anoo Bhopti, alongside experienced OT clinicians Susanne Nelson and Sally Reichelt provide an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder and offer an evidence-based approach to using functional and practical intervention strategies and assessments.
This online seminar series will offer an induction into the area of private practice, how to adapt practices based on different environments, the team surrounding the child, and navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Medicare world.
Participants can apply for a minimum of 7 CPD points from this evidence-based learning event.

Presenters
Dr. Anoo Bhopti has worked for over 25 years as a paediatric occupational therapist in a range of settings and currently works as a lecturer and researcher at La Trobe University as well as a clinician in a private practice.
Dr. Bhopti's research and practice is embedded in paediatrics and early childhood intervention, with a focus on supporting and empowering families of children with disability including Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is on the expert advisory group of Early Childhood Intervention Australian and promotes evidence based-practice and inclusion and participation of all children and their families.
Susanne Nelson has over 20 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist and is the Director of Susanne Nelson and Associates (SNAA) and co-director of its consultancy services.
SNAA's provides outreach Occupational Therapy services for autistic toddlers to adolescents either within their homes or educational environments. SNAA prides itself on utilising functional and evidence-based interventions when working with its families and children to achieve success within the child's natural environments.
Sally Mohitian is the Founder and Director of Fun Lab Therapy and has over 10 years of clinical and theoretical experience to the practice. Sally has worked across multiple settings, including community health, mainstream schools, special and special development schools, early intervention, private practice, and hospitals.
Sally is passionate about growing high quality, evidence-based occupational therapy practice to service the community.
