Convict-era shirt collection
Friday 25 November 2016, 10.00am – 12.00pm
Join senior curator Michelle Hetherington for a detailed look at the convict-era shirt collection in the Landmarks gallery.
The shirt had been placed into a wall cavity of the Commandant’s Cottage in Granton, Tasmania. It was one of six artefacts found during renovations at the cottage in the 1960s and is one of only two surviving examples from the convict era.
