Description

Oak & Monkey Puzzle Summer Open Garden:

The Oak & Monkey Puzzle Summer Open Garden is the second of three glorious 2019/2020 spring to autumn opportunities to visit Oak and Monkey Puzzle, the home of Natasha Morgan,

Located 1 hour north of Melbourne near Daylesford, experience its ever changing beautiful productive gardens and gold rush era exotic trees across late spring, summer and autumn in celebration of the Daylesford Macedon Flower Farm Trail.

Talk with Natasha about her tree change with a purpose, the design and construction of the gardens, pop down a picnic blanket under our ancient Oak canopy, gather and revel in this stunning property nestled in the Wombat State Forest.

It's also an opportunity to support our region’s wonderful ‘slow’ flower farmers, of whom a selection will be at Oak and Monkey Puzzle to share their stories, flowers and specialty products.

There will be an assortment of local flower farm flowers and speciality flower products, River Bend Blueberries from Glenlyon, as well as beautiful cakes, Wattle & Wombat french crepes, savoury treats and refreshments, and Natasha Morgan signature syrups available for purchase, as well as much more.

Daylesford Macedon Flower Farm Trail:

For the first time, the flower farmers of the Daylesford Macedon Ranges are joining forces to offer annually a series of events and experiences from each spring through to autumn.

The Daylesford Macedon Flower Farm Trail is the first major collaboration from local flower farmers, providing visitors an opportunity to experience slow flower therapy en masse, all within just an hour or so drive from Melbourne.

The Daylesford Macedon Flower Farm Trail, a series of events spring, summer and autumn, which commences this Spring 2019, is hosted by Consortium Botanicus (of which Natasha Morgan is a founding member), a local group committed to supporting and promoting the local, seasonal, micro flower farm movement in Australia.

As well as the Oak and Monkey Puzzle Open Garden Day, visitors can book into a Christmas styling or floral workshop, stay at boutique luxury flower farm accommodation, source DIY flowers for their upcoming event, indulge in the sensory experience of being among rows of perfumed flowers, picnic and pick their own peonies or choose a bunch of fresh-harvested blooms straight from a charming road-side stall.

To discover the trail and all that’s on offer at each flower farmer venue across Spring-Autumn 2019/20 go to www.consortiumbotanicus.com.au/daylesfordmacedonflowerfarmtrail
