You are invited to a two-day workshop focused on improving grazing and pasture management on your farm.

Dates:

Day 1: Wednesday 3 July

Day 2: Wednesday 31 July

Topics covered:

  • The principles of grazing management and balancing the needs of pasture and livestock
  • Manipulating pasture composition with grazing
  • The benefits of grazing strategies for native and introduced species.
  • Management of species relevant to the Ararat region
  • Develop a whole farm grazing plan

Presenter:

Lisa Warn is an agricultural consultant and researcher with a long history of working in the grazing industries.

She provides a whole farm consultancy service to sheep and beef producers, is a coordinator of BestWool/BestLamb and BetterBeef groups, and an accredited deliverer of Grazing Management and Lifetime Ewe Management courses.

Lisa is well-known for her research in evaluating grazing systems and pasture persistence, as well as identifying soil constraints to pasture growth.
