Event description

Description

The revised Nutrition Science Competencies reiterate the scope of practice for the profession in Australia [1]. Nutrition Science is complex, multi-dimensional and continually evolving, as are the degrees of study in Australia.

Degree coordinators are warmly invited to attend a workshop to introduce the contemporary Nutrition Science Competencies and their intended purpose. Coordinators will have the chance to trial a mapping tool to identify strengths and opportunities in their curricula and discuss future applications of the competencies tool.

A major outcome of the workshop would be to create a community of practice of Nutrition Science educators and Degree Coordinators to share our strengths and diversity within the one discipline.
