The theme of this year's Conference is 'Projecting our Voices' - Leading the way in shaping the future of patient care.
The Nursing and Midwifery Research and Practice Development Conference is proudly hosted by the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Nursing and Midwifery Directorate.
The conference will feature a variety of oral and poster presentations, showcasing the innovation and expertise of nurses and midwives who are committed to delivering the best quality care through excellence in research and practice development.
Our conference will feature two dynamic keynote speakers.
Bashi Hazard, an Australian lawyer and the principal of B W Law, a legal practice directed at assisting women and children, and the Legal Director of the ANZ arm of the Human Rights in Childbirth (HRiC) International Lawyers Network.
Professor Jane Phillips, a professor of nursing with experience in delivering evidenced-based palliative care across diverse settings, including rural and regional Australia. She has developed and evaluated nurse-coordinated models of palliative care and has extensive experience in cancer and chronic disease nursing and research.
