Description

'NTIS Rugby Academy' - U12 Induction Camp

Coach Development

The U12 Induction Camp has been designed as a PD opportunity for accredited coaches especially those working with U7, U9, U11 and U13 teams. Guidance will be provided to coaches on what is essential and appropriate in the areas of physical development, running technique and speed development, tracking and ball control, catch and pass, kicking skills, body contact, tackling and defensive skills, and core game skills.

Delivery of the content is consistent with creating a positive developmental experience that encourages effort, persistence, enjoyment, satisfaction, prolonged engagement with sport and, critically, enhanced self-confidence within and outside of the sporting domain.

All accredited coaches with current Smart Rugby and Ochre Card qualifications are welcome. All participating coaches need to be registered for the camp. Online registration can be done by clicking on the 'REGISTER' tab and provide the details required. There is no cost.

Non accredited coaches (parents) can be involved in the camp by enrolling in the Foundation Coaching course being run in conjunction with the camp activities. Enrolling can be done by clicking on this link:
