NT Farmers are taking their successful Food Futures Conference to Katherine! The two day event will feature presentations from farmers and experts regarding the agricultural opportunities and challenges in North Australia. It will also provide you with the chance to visit leading farms in the region that are at the forefront of innovation and best practice in the NT.

On Tuesday the 10th hear from industry leaders and government about the biggest trends and developments that will affect the industry in North Australia. The government will deliver essential information about water and land availability in addition to R,D&E activities to grow the industry.

The day will also feature key updates and workshops on:

• The future of horticulture in the NT
• Broadacre opportunities
• Overcoming workforce challenges
• The NT Government's Agribusiness Strategy
• Emerging crops in the NT
• Trends and opportunities affecting young farmers
• How to take advantage of AgriTech - focusing on drones and LiDAR

Presentations on the first day will be broken up with multiple opportunities to network with a range of farmers, agricultural suppliers, agricultural researchers and NT Farmers staff. The roadshow dinner (included in ticket price) will be the perfect opportunity to network with all attendees.

On Wednesday the 11th the roadshow will tour a wide range of farms in the region. The tour will visit farms representing the Territory's major plant based industries.
