Description

Come along to this talk and census display to celebrate the inscription of the 1828 Census of NSW, on the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Register.
The 1828 Census was the first census taken in Australia and is one of the most comprehensive taken in the world.
The discussion of this historic document will be presented by State Archives staff. Staff and the Census will remain at Tuggerah until 2pm following the formal talk to answer any further questions. Come and see a piece of our history!
