NSW READS - ‘Lucky’s by Andrew Pippos - in library streaming author talk
Event Information
About this Event
We are back in the library, COVID safe to be part of the NSW READS event. This is a collaboration of NSW Public Libraries bringing great Australian authors to you. Our featured book is Lucky's by Andrew Pippos. Described as “a must-read saga, and a gripping monument to Greek diaspora” by The Guardian Australia, central to the theme of Lucky’s is the iconic Greek milk bar/café businesses, found in so many Australian towns and suburbs. NSW Reads will celebrate the heritage of these venues and the migrant experiences of food and community as readers from all over the state share a reading experience.
Join us from 6pm for refreshments prior to the start of the talk at 6.30pm. Bookings are essential either through eventbrite or calling Bankstown Library on 9707 9708.
