The School Student Program
The Academy will be your springboard from being a school student to becoming a law student. Our two intensive modules that make up the School Student Program will guide you through that transitional phase.
The Academy’s goal is to develop its students’ analytical and creative thinking skills. Through intensive tutoring and practical application, our students will develop the ability to analyse and apply persuasive thinking. We encourage our students to engage with this thinking process as we transform them into articulate, creative and critical thinkers. Our intensive School Student Program, synthesising theory and practice, provides the prefect foundation to achieve this end.
Our ethos is to fuse legal theory and practical application. This approach to learning is widely acknowledged as the best technique for a student’s ability to retain information.
The five day intensive program (Legal Practice), is a practice-focused approach to learning where the students are mentored by the two Academy Principals, and will be introduced to plethora of Legal practitioners. The three day intensive (Legal Theory), is a tutorial–styled learning forum lead by University Law Lecturers and Tutors.
The School Student Program allow students to refine their learning skills in a face to face learning environment. This intensive program seeks to develop students’ oral communication skills through discussion, debate and argument, all of which will be centered on the legal profession.
Achieving the highest ATAR possible is a school student’s main focus.
