About this event

The draft Border Rivers Regional Water Strategy and the proposed rules for floodplain harvesting licencing in the Border Rivers region are on public exhibition from Tuesday 20 October to Monday 30 November.

Register for the public information session in Inverell to find out more. The session will provide an overview of the draft Border Rivers Regional Water Strategy including the climate data modelling approach and the long list of draft options. The session will also provide an overview of the proposed water sharing rules for floodplain harvesting licenses, how to make a submission and a Q and A session. 

In order to maintain COVID-19 safe practices it is essential that each person planning to attend registers for a session. Spaces are limited. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms such as a temperature of 37.5 degrees or over, fever, dry cough, sore throat or respiratory issues please do not attend a workshop. Temperatures will be checked on arrival.
