Description

Children's Week celebrates the right of children to enjoy childhood and is held in the fourth week of October each year.

The permanent theme of Children’s Week is ‘A Caring World Shares’ and is a reflection of the aims of Children’s Week while at the same time acknowledging the designated year. The Children’s Week National Theme for 2017 UNCRC Article 29 ‘Education should develop each child’s personality and talents to the full’.

To celebrate Children's Week Nowra Library will be holding a Kids Drop-In Crafternoon on Tuesday 24th October from 3.30pm - 5pm.

The drop-in crafternoon is a self-directed activity where children will have access to a wide range of craft materials to create whatever they wish.

This FREE afterschool activity is designed for children aged 7-12 years. Younger children are welcome to participate with an adult present.

So come along and get crafty with us!
