About this event

Built in 1858, Sydney Observatory is one of the most significant sites in the nation’s scientific history. It is recognised as an item of ‘state significance’ by the New South Wales Government and is heritage listed.

Visit the Observatory gardens and building and view the new Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House displays. Witness the dropping of the Time Ball at 1pm each day.

Please note: day and night telescope tours will remain suspended until restrictions ease.
