Description

Northern Regional Forum: Keeping Families Safe - Working with Children

Do you work with children and families in a community setting where Family/Domestic Violence (FDV) is not your core business?

Have you ever found yourself talking with a child, or witnessing something and thinking if might be FDV?

We believe that all of our community has a role to play in supporting families to access information and supports for FDV (Family Domestic Violence), workers in libraries, community centres, children centres, frontline and clinical workers will often be some of the first to have a FDV disclosure from a child and can be crucial in how the family accesses supports.

This forum is for workers who want to upskill their FDV responses. Information will be provided on how to recognise, respond and refer with skill training across demographics.
