EVENT DESCRIPTION

Come and join us as we travel to Northam for the Northam Flying Fifty car racing extravaganza!

This historic motor sport festival will show case sport cars, racing cars and historic touring cars as they race through the tight street circuit around town. You will have the opportunity to capture all the action both on the road and off the road. There will be plenty of street stalls, static car displays and lots of street entertainment for you to enjoy and photograph on the day.

Below are all the details for the Photowalk please take the time to read it carefully so you know what to expect on the day

Date: Sunday 8th April 2018

Arrival Time: 7:30am

Depart Time: 8:00am (Departing Perth)

Arrival Time: 9:30am (Arriving at Northam)

Lunch Time: 12pm to 1pm (At Bernard Park)

Depart Time: 4:00pm (Departing Northam)

Arrival Time: 4:15pm (Arriving at Northam look out point)

Departing Time: 5:00pm (Northam look out point)

Arrival Time: 6:30pm (Arriving at Perth)


Meeting Point: Crown Metropol Perth (carpark area closest to the train station)

Cost: $37.57: (Includes admin fee and booking fee)

Bookings: All bookings through Eventbrite

You will need to make sure you arrive at eaxactly at 7:30am so we can leave at 8:00am sharp if you are not there on time you will be left behind and you will be responsible on making your own way to Northam.

You will need to bring your own packed lunch for this event or you can buy your own food from the many local cafe and food shops on the day. There will be BBQ facilities at Bernard Park so for any one interested in using them I will be bringing along some BBQ cooking utensils and supplies that the group is welcomed to use.


PUBLIC TRANSPORT

For anyone using public transport to get to the Meeting Point please head over to the Transperth Plan Your Journey website http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au to check out the best way to get there from your area.


PARKING

The best place to park for this photowalk would be at the Crown Perth parking area which is free 24 hours a day.

WHAT TO BRING

The following items are just a suggestion please feel free to bring whatever you think will be suitable for you on the day. And for the less experienced members of the group if you need any help with your camera gear or photographic equipment please make sure you bring your user manuals so I either myself or one of my assistants can help you out on the day.

• Your favourite digital or analogue camera

• Memory Cards or film

• Spare batteries

• Flash

• Bring any lenses that you have with you, ideal lenses for this Photowalk would be fast prime and tele-zoom lenses

• Shutter release wired/wireless app

• Camera bag/Back Pack/Shoulder Bag

• Tripod

• Check the weather forecast for the day and dress accordingly so you are comfortable

• Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen

FAQs

Why do you charge an admin fee?

We charge a flat $10 admin fee for all photowalks. $5 dollars goes towards the running cost and time involved in organising the photowalks and the other $5 dollars goes towards a donation for the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation.


What's the refund policy?

Unfortunatley last minute cancellations or no shows have a negative impact on the photowalks and affect the organiser, attendees, partners and venues that are involved. So we have a strict NO REFUND policy for all of our photowalks. If you can’t make it to the photowalk for whatever reason, it will be your resposability to pass on your ticket to a friend or family member that can take your place.
