North East Link Community Workshops

Come and participate in our first community workshop for North East Link.

We'll discuss planning strategy, opportunities and constraints and ask you to help us better understand existing conditions in the project area.

Our content specialists will get things started with short presentations. You'll then get involved in small group discussions and activities.

You will have the opportunity to join one of three conversation streams:

• Your environment
  Let us know more about the environment you live in including traffic, noise, flora and fauna, air quality and landscape. What do you value, what concerns do you have and what can be improved.
  
• Urban design
  Help us better understand how you travel around your local area, how you use community spaces like parks and shops and what you like about the look and feel of your neighbourhood. This session is about improving how the project connects communities and how design elements like noise walls could look.
  
• Walking and cycling
  Help us plan a better network of walking and cycling tracks. We want to hear from all kinds of cyclists and walkers - commuters, recreational cyclists, families, dog walkers, power walkers, runners and more.
  

These conversation streams will be held at the same time. It will only be possible for you to attend one.

If you can’t attend in person, or want to join more than one conversation stream, we’ll be offering opportunities to get involved online after the event.
