Description

The Office of the ACT Ombudsman has commissioned Halloran Morrissey to provide training to the Independent Education Sector and its Schools which fall under the ACT reportable conduct scheme and who have a responsibility to investigate allegations into employment based child protection.

Conducting reportable conduct investigations

A one day skills course that will provide an overview of the employer’s obligations and the essential steps required when conducting a reportable conduct investigation. The course will examine the investigation process and enhance participants’ skills in managing the complex and sensitive work involved in a reportable conduct investigation.

The training assumes an understanding of the basic workings and requirements of the scheme.

Who should attend

We welcome employers, human resource managers or compliance managers, investigators, or staff who are responsible for responding to and/or investigating reportable conduct allegations against employees.

Lunch will be provided.

The courses are funded and supported by the ACT Ombudsman.
