About this event

The Mediator Assessment Course builds on and consolidates foundational knowledge and skills relevant to mediators and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners. This subject offers in depth examination and evaluation of critical issues in mediation and family dispute resolution. Participants will be able to practically apply advanced knowledge and skills within the context of facilitative mediation.

Topics including cross-cultural issues, power, emotion, impartiality, violence, current law, ethics and professionalism will be explored through workshop modules, practical role plays and case studies.

Cancellation Policy

There is a restriction on numbers at all Dispute Resolution Centre training workshops. Registrations are accepted only if and when payment is actually received. The Centre reserves the right to cancel courses where there are insufficient enrolments.
