LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Recognise indications for and applications of NIV in relation to common respiratory disease processes
- Set-up a device and initiate NIV therapy
- Tailor the type & fit of interface to patient requirements
- Develop a systematic approach to ABG analysis
- Titrate NIV therapy and settings in response to changes in patient condition and ABG interpretation
