Event description

Description

Considering an NHMRC Early Career or Career Development Fellowship application in 2018 (or even 2019)? This seminar will cover strategic and application advice: planning ahead to give your application the best chances for success, what makes a competitive and compelling fellowship applicant, and advice for writing the grant itself. We’ll also cover the upcoming changes to the 2019 NHMRC Fellowship schemes.

The seminar will include presentations from Dr Brett Szmajda, Research Development Manager at the Research Strategy and Partnerships Office; Julie McAlpin, Medicine Team Leader at the Grants Management Office; and Associate Professor Robert Gilchrist, Director of Research in the School of Women's & Children's Health and frequent reviewer for the NHMRC Fellowship panels.

A question and answer session with all speakers will follow the presentations.
