The most engaging Kiwi cinema experience of the year is coming to Sydney in October.
Kiwi Connect’s ninth annual New Zealand Short Film Festival, a sell-out event in recent years, showcases uniquely Kiwi stories from Aotearoa’s most gifted movie-makers.
Often hilarious, sometimes confronting, but always moving...the event’s cinematic core is augmented by the tastes of Godzone, including a complimentary glass of wine, and a Kiwi-themed goody bag.
Date: Wednesday, 26 October 2016
Time: 6.15 pm for 7 pm to 8.45 pm (followed by a networking event at The Imperial Hotel Paddington)
Venue: Chauvel Cinema, Paddington Town Hall, Cnr Oxford & Oatley Rd, Paddington
Tickets: $35 / $30 earlybird on sale 1-10 September, unless sold out prior

When & Where
Kea's successful Sydney chapter is now Kiwi Connect, rebranding to ensure the 500,000+ New Zealanders living in Australia have an active on-the-ground advocate and hub for networking and events.
The name has changed, but everything else about the NSW-based organisation will remain the same: we still have the same volunteer committee, with a wide array of skills and expertise, and we will continue to run the hugely successful events that made Kea Sydney a shining light of the global network.
The NZ Short Film Festival will continue to be our premier event and we’ll keep celebrating Waitangi Day, Anzac Day and other iconic Godzone occasions as a means of giving our expat audience a taste of home.
Kiwi Connect will continue partnering with like-minded organisations, including New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the All Blacks Supporters Club Sydney.
