Description

Ah, winemakers – those mythical creatures with the ability to turn a simple fruit into a glass of pure pleasure.

Pinot Swingers gets you up close and personal with a group of New Zealand’s most endearing winemakers with a new take on speed-dating in one of Sydney's hottest new wine bars, Dear Sainte Eloise.

Over a glass of Pinot and a perfectly matched dish, chew the fat with one of our winemaking legends. You’ll have around half an hour before the Pinot bell rings, the winemaker swaps (‘swings’) tables, and the next date begins.

5 glasses of New Zealand Pinot

5 delicious shared plates to match

PLUS - all Pinot Swingers guests will go in the draw to WIN AN INCREDIBLE 7-NIGHT TRIP TO NEW ZEALAND visiting your favourite Pinot Noir region!!! Click here for prize and entry details.

About Dear Sainte Eloise
“Dear Sainte Éloise, if you exist, please send me some money. I don’t ask for much — just enough to buy some bread and a bottle of wine”
– George Orwell, Down and Out in Paris and London, 1933

The Dear Sainte Eloise team of Matt Swieboda (Love Tilly Devine), Nathanial Hatwell (Mercado) and Jasmine Natterer (London’s Sager + Wilde) love this story. So much so, they named their new wine bar after it.

A young and desperate protagonist, destitute on the streets of Paris, praying to a photograph of a saint who is later revealed to be nothing more than a famous prostitute. It’s a funny scene with a great punchline and best of all: his wish comes true. He gets his wine and his bread, and again he is restored.

Restore the Pinot balance in your life and join us for Pinot Swingers, on the streets of Potts Point, in place of Paris.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There sure is. As alcohol is at the event, you must be over 18 to attend. Please bring a valid form of identification with you on the day just to be sure (Passport or driver's license).

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There’s limited street parking nearby but be sure to avoid the permit zones. Better yet, leave the car at home and hop on the train. Kings Cross Station is just a 5 minute walk away.

Note: Entrance off Llankelly Place

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It’s always easier, yes. But, even better is the eventbrite app which keeps them all on your phone. We’ll scan you in when you arrive.

How can I advise dietary requirements?

Due to the nature of the event and set menu, we can accommodate limited dietary requirements. Please contact natalie.corkery@nzwine.com to confirm.

Will tickets be available on the door?

Only if there are any available. But more often than not, ‘no’ as we expect these events to sell out prior. We strongly suggest buying tickets prior to ensure you don’t miss out.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Drop us an email at natalie.corkery@nzwine.com and we’ll get right back to you.
