About this Event
The natural rhythm of life has embedded within it cycles and patterns, beginnings and endings, and the New Year is a powerful time collectively to honour the year's past cycle and welcome the next. This Day Retreat is a time to reflect on and learn from both the triumphs and missteps of the past year and set intentions to move forward with into the New Year.
More than just a simple setting of resolutions, this retreat aims to take you on the journey of Sadhana, a Sanskrit word meaning in simple terms, "a means of accomplishing something."
Anything can be a form of Sadhana...the way we eat, the way we stand, the way we walk, the way we parent children, the way we love, the way we show up in life. It's about conscious awareness of how you want to show up in life for yourself and how that can manifest in the New Year.
In this Retreat, we explore Sadhana through movement with Vinyasa Yoga, stillness with moments to calm and quiet the mind, breath work that enhances the pranic body through the five vayus or winds of the body, and mantra as we explore ancient sound vibrations.
We will unravel simple tools for examining your most recent cycle and past patterns and set personal Sankalpa's or intentions to bring our Sadhana or more conscious way of being into the New Year.
