New Years Day Visitor Permit 2020

The City will be closing down a number of streets on New Years Day to better care for residents living in close vicinity to Shelley Foreshore. A map has been provided to show these road closures and is called the 'Access Restricted Area'.

Proof of residency is required to enter your property within this area - in the form of a Driver's License or alternatively something like a utility bill.

A Visitor Permit is also required to allow access to friends or family (or a carer) visiting you on this day from 12pm - 9pm.

If you are having more than one guest, you only need to create one (1) visitor permit which can be copied for use of several guests.

An email will be sent to you with a confirmation and copy of the permit, please supply this to your visitor/s to present to Traffic Management on the day. This can be presented by:

1. Printing a hard copy

2. Presenting on their phone

The City will be closed from 24 December - 2 January.
