OMG I am so bless Andrea came into my life. She has equipped me with an amazing postivite and powerful mind. In our coaching sessions, I was supported and challenged to think creatively, positively and recognise my zest for life. I learned to balance work, life and whanau (family) She helped me understand and provided me the tools so I could balance my training (for trialthlon), whanau (family) and work commitments. Her guidance has been invaluable as she kept me forcused ‘my why’ and gave me the space to tap into my strengths to explore, connect and use these. Andrea’s intuitive insights, bubbly personality have made me fearless for my future because of the thoughts I am sending out to the universe. I 110% recommend this upbeat, super amazing lady all the changes that have happened in my life happened after her coaching. We still keep in touch! She is one of a kind!

You’ll need your own tent and sleeping gear.
We suggest a mesh tent or mosquito fly so you can participate in all the activities, see everyone, get airflow, and keep the pesky flies off you! They can be cheaply bought if you don’t have one.
Alternatively you may bring any Tent you like.
We will be sleeping in a paddock on grass so a sleeping mat is recommended but not necessary. You may opt to sleep on your Yoga mat, or alternately you can bring any mattress you like. It will be a 200 - 400m walk to carry your gear.

You’ll also need a blanket or sleeping bag. Depending on what the weather forecast is predicted. We will contact you a few days beforehand to advise.

A torch/headlight
Walking shoes/sandals suitable for bush, grass and pea gravel walking.
Yoga Mat
Your favourite small plate of fresh fruit to share (there will be a fridge available in the Cottage.)
Drink bottle and/or Flask (if you’re water fasting and want your water/tea to stay cold/hot.)
Writing pad and pens.
Sun hat.
Fly mask or mesh to wear over your hat (advised.)
Comfy loose clothes for Yoga and meditation.

If you don’t have any of the above items, contact us and we may be able to guide or help you out.

Most importantly, you’ll need a big smile, willingness to contribute and share, openness, and a sense of fun!

What exactly will be be doing?

First we will welcome you all and set up camp.
Then well will get to know everyone, share about ourselves, and take you through a group meditation and Yoga session, then allow everyone to talk about their aspirations and goals for 2018.
We will do a guided visualisation to help you get clear on what it is you want for 2018 and beyond. We’ll help you set a clear and powerful 2018 intention, action steps, including how to keep accountable and on track, and talk about self sabotage.
We’ll continue with sitting and lying meditation, gentle stretching, and a guided healing meditation and group discussion.

We’ll welcome 2018 with love and peace in our heart, our body feeling supple and relaxed, and our mind clear and focused.

In the morning, we’ll have a group gratitude and affirmation setting exercise, meditation, easy Yoga and gently stretch the body awake.
We will have a 50-70 minute easy walk through the bush, with an optional swim in the dam, and break our fast with yummy fresh fruit.

There will be free time for relaxing, chatting, singing, dancing and making your own fun as you wish.

Is there dinner provided?

No sorry. We are recommending everyone Fast over New Year’s Eve (water/herbal tea fasting or dry fasting is up to you) to help you get the most of the process.
Food takes a lot of energy for digestion, and we want your mind clear and sharp and your body feeling light and energised, so you can be fully present for the evening. We truly believe that Fasting will help you throughout the evening.

If you’ve never fasting before, it’s all good. Why not give it a go and see how you feel.

In the morning we will have fresh organic local fruit to eat (please also bring a small plate of your favourite fruit to share) to break the Fast. This will set your body up with natural high vibrational foods to nourish and hydrate your body for 2018.

Is there anything to drink?

Yes there will be unlimited rain water with fresh organic lemons to squeeze into it if you desire, and unlimited freshly picked herbal tea.

Can I bring alcohol?

No sorry, it is an alcohol and drug free event.

Can I bring food?

Please bring a small plate of fresh fruit to share with everyone in the morning. We will also have fresh organic local fruit.

Please read the question (above) about dinner. If you wish to eat, please do so before coming to the event.

Can I bring my partner?

Absolutely! If you think they’d be open to the activities of the evening/morning, then yes, the more the merrier (until the limited tickets sell out that is.)

Can I come alone?

Of course! We welcome and encourage people to come alone!
We will ask, if possible, if you could car pool with someone else also coming alone.

Can I bring my children? Pets?

No sorry, the activities and area is not suitable for either young children or pets. Your teenagers are encouraged to come along and participate however.

Do I need to know how to do Yoga or meditate?

Not at all. It will all be explained and shown how. I congratulate you for wanting to start on New Years Eve!

Does it matter that I’ve been doing Yoga and/or meditation for years?

No, not at all. Your experience is valued and admired. You’re welcome to use your own style of meditation silently (if you don’t wish to use the Instructors) and with Yoga you are welcome to use your options to intensify the positions if you so wish.

What style of Yoga will we be doing?

We will be doing Hatha Yoga Vinyassa flow, mixed with Tai Chi movements and full body stretching. It involves gentle stretching and movements, suitable for beginners, or adaptable for experienced.

Will there be toilets?

Yes we will be meeting at a farm cottage and camping 100-300m from there. You may use the toilet there as you like throughout the time.
Alternatively there will be many ‘bush toilets’ around if you so wish.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We hope to organise Car Pools. There is only room for 6 Vehicles at the Venue however there will be parks further down the road.
