Event description

Description

The Gongs and other sacred instruments being played during the sound bath aid the busy mind to relax and experience timelessness and different dimensions. The vibrations heal old wounds and open the mind to new possibilities. The frequencies move quickly through the body, helping people to identify and acknowledge emotional and physical tension, and release these energies through willingness and breathing. The gongs are transformative instruments, and have the power of:

  • De-materialization (cessation of the sense of physicality)

  • Levitation (cessation of the sense of gravity)

  • Rejuvination (the feeling of an ecstatic fullness of life force)

  • Inner Peace (a cessation of the sense of time flow)

  • Immortality (the sense of the continuity of consciousness without a body, removing the fear of physical death)

Full Moons help us see what is coming to fruition – in our thoughts, wishes, health, energy, core needs and in our love relationships, soul desires and deepest success cravings. The ‘seeds planted’ at the New Moon are now shooting up for us to see. What is culminating? Do we like what’s going on? Full Moons help us see the next steps to take and adjust our perspectives, intentions and actions.

When a Full Moon is also a Supermoon (like the one in January is) it looks larger than the average-sized Full Moons through the year and has greater effects on the tides and also on the ‘tides’ of waters/fluids in our bodies, including our blood serum, lymphatic fluids, cerebrospinal fluids (brain & spinal column) and the cytoplasm of every cell within our being.

  • We will be in Room 18 this time which is the back room on the left facing the front of the Community House (your back to the beach) You can park at the back of the building, and enter through the door on Dominion Rd.

  • Please aim to arrive at 7.15pm and you can settle into the room and tune into your own intention for your session. A short introduction will be given about the power of gongs and what to expect once everyone is there.

  • If you are running a few minutes late or feel lost, please call/SMS Bette on 0409 585 422 so we know to still expect you. We start the sound at 7.45pm, so unless you contact us, no-one will be let in after this time.

  • Please bring your own yoga/camping mat/sun-lounge/zero gravity chair, pillow and blanket/shawl, water bottle, journal(optional) and an eye pillow if you have one. You want to be as comfortable as possible to enable deep relaxation.

  • Children over 8 years are welcome to attend with a parent, but there are no concessions. Children and teenagers need to understand this is a type of meditation event, where there will be no talking for 45 minutes. Children usually choose to sit up and watch rather than lie down, this is perfectly acceptable as they are very curious. Children are not to touch the sound equipment without the permission of Graham and Bette.

  • Organic herbal tea will be offered afterwards so that people can connect with their experience and each other.

  • We have a 'grounding' bowl that you can stand in before you leave, to make sure that you feel well grounded before leaving.

Blessings
Bette and Graham
