7 pm = 2018s Last Meal: A 5-Course Degustation by Celebrity Chef Tom Kime.
End the year with a good company and even better food. We’re ushering in the New Year with a first class event that celebrates exotic flavours from around the world. Joined by celebrity chef Tom Kime - who hosted Jamie Oliver’s wedding - you’ll be treated to delicious canapés and a prized menu that showcases the best of Kime’s dishes.

Set amongst the exquisite architecture and decor of City Tattersalls Club, our Spice Feast event will run from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Mix and mingle with like-minded people, enjoy a range of delectable food and wines, and head off to after-parties or festivities full and satisfied.

Live Entertainment included: Abigail Dixon is a Jazz singer traditionally trained in musical theatre with a flair for jazz and blues. She takes her inspiration from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Nora Jones and sings a perfect soundtrack to a superb New Years night.

1am = 2019s First Meal: A 3-Course meal with Cocktail until sunrise.

Need somewhere to go after New Year’s festivities wind down? We’ve got a fully-stocked bar open until morning and an exclusive 3-course meal by celebrity chef Tom Kime (who hosted Jamie Oliver’s wedding)

Indulge in incredible international cuisine and paired cocktails/beverages in our extravagant City Tattersalls Club venue. Food will be served from 1:00 am - 3:00 am, long after the fireworks have ended, and the bar will be flowing until early morning.

MENU: Canapes:

  • Sydney rock oysters with lemongrass, black pepper dressing (GF DF)
  • Tuna Crudo with preserved lemon, toasted fennel seeds (GF DF)
  • Truffled goats cheese tartlets (V)

Degustation dishes:

  • Grilled chorizo, artisan cured meats, wagyu beef bresaola. Duo of dips: Cumin roast zucchini dip, herbs, paprika; Syrian red pepper dip, walnuts, spiced beetroot dip, pistachio nuts; Za'atar flatbread (V, VE )
  • Fennel, coriander cured kingfish, saffron pickled fennel, Mojo Verde dressing (GF DF)
  • Caramelised scallops, crisp Asian herb salad, ginger, lime, green cashew nut chutney
  • Slow roast lamb shoulder, shawarma spices, pomegranate, mint dressing, crumbled feta, pistachio nuts, cinnamon & honey roasted carrots, coconut labneh (GF, DF, V, VE)
  • Market fish roast fillet, chermoula of roast red peppers and heirloom tomatoes, grilled asparagus, peas (GF DF )
  • Lemon cream pots, vanilla poached apricots, raspberry and orange biscotti (GF)

About The Chef: Tom has cooked privately for international celebrities and royalty, by appointment including hosting Jamie Oliver’s wedding. Tom has written six acclaimed books, filmed five series of Ready Steady Cook and presented three of his own TV series.

Most recently, Tom was the executive chef of Goodtime Hospitality in Sydney overseeing the East Village in Darlinghurst and the West village in Petersham. Qantas voted the terrace at the East Village their no. 1 rooftop bar for 2017. The East Village won the Timeout award for Best Pub Revival 2017. Tom was the executive chef of Ceru restaurants in London and Sydney specializing in street food from the eastern Mediterranean and the Levant.

Tom has written more than 6 books and filed 10 TV series.
