New EPA Victorian Regulations: Essentials for dairy farms
Presenter
Dr Meredith Gibbs, Gibbs Advisory on behalf of EPA Victoria and Dairy Australia
Webinar Description
A new Victorian Environment Protection Act and regulations are coming into effect on 1 July 2021. The new Act and regulations represent a significant change in environmental management across Victoria, with a move from prosecution to prevention of environmental damage.
Dairy Australia is presenting workshops that will provide dairy farmers with key knowledge to understand these changes and effectively manage environmental risks under the new arrangements. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation. Each presentation will be the same, except for the session on 29th July which will include some additional information tailored to the larger herd farms, so please choose the date that suits you best.
A recording of the presentation, as well as other useful resources, will be uploaded to the Dairy Australia website after the conclusion of the workshop series.
Future information sessions will be held on:
Monday 26th July, 12-1.30pm
Monday 26th July, 7-8.30pm
