This session will focus on the new client intake procedures for CHSP services, incorporating the My Aged Care service provider portal.
This includes:
* Knowledge and understanding of The My Aged Care service provider portal tasks required to be completed by service providers when accepting new clients;
* Where to find intake information within the client assessment and file;
* Use a template to develop procedures around new client intake, finding ways to combine old systems with the new.
My Aged Care for service providers is a virtual doorway where new clients are sent to access a service. What is behind your virtual My Aged Care doorway? This workshop aims to support CHSP service providers to develop their own intake procedures which incorporate My Aged Care portal systems. The aim is for clients to be able to start receiving the service they are needing within allocated timeframes.
This is not computer training and it is not introductory level. There is an expectation participants have a basic understanding of the My Aged Care portal for service providers already. This session is aimed at investigating the steps and tasks behind the virtual doorway, to provide a timely service to new clients.
