About this event
The recent invasion of Ukraine is a keen reminder the importance of multilateral agenda and the broader concept of international cooperation in the interests of human rights. Social movements and organisations interested in advancing the Sustainable Development agenda must not let this moment simply drift into another Cold War. Will we be as determined as ever to remember the lessons learnt from the last Cold War and reassert the primacy of peace, planetary health and intergenerational equity?
Join us for a discussion and debate on how the Sustainable Development community best uses the moment to reflect on what hasn’t worked over the last thirty years, and what needs to change for this reactivation of multilateralism to be funnelled into a re-birth of the Sustainable Development agenda.
